With over 18 years of experience in the field of optometry, Mr. Usman Maljee is a highly skilled and respected practitioner dedicated to providing top-tier eye care. He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Optometry (BSc Hons) and is a Member of the College of Optometrists (MCOptom).
Mr. Maljee is also the Chairman of the East London and City Local Optical Committee (ELC LOC), along with being the Clinical Lead for the Minor Eye Conditions (MECs) programme in East London. He advocates for the optometric profession and works to improve patient access to quality optical care.

Mr Dawood Maljee oversees the smooth running of both the Plaistow and Forest Gate branches of Vision Academy, providing one-to-one support and communication with patients, ensuring their queries and issues to be answered and fixed to the fullest extent.

With over 25 years of experience in the field of optometry, Mr. Imran Maljee is a seasoned optometrist with a strong focus on paediatric testing and independent prescribing. He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Optometry (BSc Hons), is a Member of the College of Optometrists (MCOptom), and has achieved a Diploma in Therapeutic Prescribing (Dip TP), which allows him to provide expert care and prescribing services for a wide range of eye conditions.
As a Senior Optometrist at both Vision Academy and Newham University Hospital, Mr. Maljee specialises in paediatric eye care, ensuring that young patients receive comprehensive, age-appropriate testing and treatment. His expertise in children’s vision care has earned him a reputation for providing compassionate, detailed assessments to address the unique needs of younger patients.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Maljee is a valued committee member for the East London and City Local Optical Committee (ELC LOC), where he collaborates with fellow professionals to improve local eye care services and advocate for the optometric community.
